Jett Industries, Inc. is actively soliciting quotations for the Solids Facilities Modifications North River WWTP in Manhattan, New York. This project has a combined goal of 20% for MBE and WBE Participation. This project has a PLA in place. The project bids on July 26, 2017. Please submit your detailed scopes by July 21, 2017 and Final Quotes on July 24, 2017 by 12:00.

The scope of work listed below for this contract is general in nature, and is not to be construed as a complete description of all work to be performed. In general, the work, which applies to the solids facilities or in the vicinity of including its auxiliary items, will include: removal of existing twenty thickened sludge pumps and grinders at Level+5, installation of twenty rotary lobe thickened sludge pumps at level +5 and associated appurtenances, installation of twenty multi-shaft thickened sludge grinders and rock traps at Leve +5 and associated piping and appurtenances, Removal of existing twelve impeller-type digester mixing pumps at Level +5 and associated piping and appurtenances, installation of twelve screw centrifugal digester mixing pumps at Level +5 and associated piping and appurtenances, removal of existing inlet and outlet wyes to the eight sludge heat exchangers at Level+5, Installation of inlet and outlet wyes to eight sludge heat exchangers at level +5, Removal of existing forty manual plug valves on thickened sludge and digested sludge lines, installation of forty manual plug valves on thickened sludge and digested sludge lines, removal of existing ten sludge blanket level detectors at Level +43, installation of ten sludge blanket level detectors at Level +43, removal of existing sixteen temperature sensing probes on the heat exchangers sludge inlet and outlet piping at Level+5, installation of sixteen temperature sensing probes on the heat exchangers sludge inlet and outlet piping at Level+5, installation of sixteen temperature sensing transmitters on the heat exchangers sludge inlet and outlet piping at Level+5, Installation of eight temperature indicating transmitters and elements on the heated sludge loops, removal of existing sixteen pressure sensing probes on the heat exchangers sludge inlet and outlet piping at Level+5, installation of sixteen pressure sensing probes on the heat exchangers sludge inlet and outlet piping at Level+5, removal of existing thirty two temperature sensing probes on the heat exchangers hot water inlet and outlet piping at Level +5, installation of thirty two temperature sensing probes on the heat exchangers hot water inlet and outlet piping at Level+5, Removal of existing of eight hot water flow control valves on the heat exchangers at Level+5, installation of eight hot water flow control valves on the heat exchangers at Level+5, Removal of existing eight digester gas flow meters at Level+32, Installation of eight digester gas flow meters at Level+32, Installation and programming of the control system for the new equipment at Level +5 and in electrical room No 13, contractor is advised components installed under contract NR-39 shall meet the requirements of the American Iron and Steel Act as applicable.
