The project is located at Berryessa Knoxville Road MPM 4.4. The Engineer's estimate is $400,000. Contractor shall possess a Class "A license at the time of the contract award.
The proposed repair to the slide is drilled hole steel soldier pile concrete retaining wall approximately 150’ long. The wall height varies from approximately 3' to 8’. The pier depth is approximately 20’.
Work will include:
•Mobilization
•Staging Area Setup
•Implementation on Erosion and Sediment Control Best Management Practices (BMP)
•Construction Area Signs per CAMUTCD standards and Special Provisions
•Temporary Traffic Control per CAMUTCD standards and Special Provisions
•Grading, excavation, backfill
•Drilled hole steel soldier pile concrete retaining wall
•Drainage facilities
•Utility coordination will be required.
•Auxiliary work shown on the plans and as directed by engineer.
•All construction activities including any temporary staging shall occur within County right of way unless directed otherwise by the engineer.
•Final cleanup
•Project Closeout
This is a Federal-aid construction contract. The requirements are incorporated in the Special Provisions of the Bid Documents. The Davis Bacon Act and related provisions apply. The DBE goal for the project is 11%. For the Federal training program, the number of trainees or apprentices is zero.

Plans and Specifications are available to purchase, the insurance requirements are listed in the Specifications. Bidder Bonds is submitted with Proposal. Labor & Material and Performance are required once awarded.
