Notice to NYS Certified M/WBE Sub-contractors for Construction Observation for the Village of Geneseo Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), EFC PROJECT C8-6546-02-00. Quotes are now being accepted for the work, which will include oversight of the activities of the construction Contractor. The Construction Observer assigned to the project should meet the following minimum qualifications:

• Has inspected at least two wastewater treatment plant construction and/or major rehabilitation projects for plants at least 0.5 MGD or greater.

• Has at least 10 years’ experience in construction inspection of water and wastewater treatment facility construction.

• Have experience with organizing & chairing preconstruction and construction progress meetings, with determining compliance with construction plans & specifications, completing daily reports and back up information, calculating daily quantities of work, coordinating for Special Inspections, recording and documenting as-built information, completing punch lists, resolving construction issues, and have a general understanding of how treatment processes work and can be maintained throughout the construction process.

• Have working knowledge of wastewater treatment plant processes; piping & pump processes; electrical, HVAC, & plumbing processes; and other mechanical system processes encountered at wastewater treatment facilities.

• Can be available on a full time or part time basis dependent upon the type and extent of construction throughout the project.

Please include in your response a brief firm profile, resume(s) for the staff you propose to use on this project, a labor and non-labor rate schedule and a budget estimate for the work assuming 320 hours of inspection (full-time or part time for 2-4 months). Please include all expenses including travel and/or mileage each day to/from the Geneseo WWTP.
