In order for the estimators to fully evaluate and close our estimate to prepare our proposal for printing, Flatiron requests Scopes of Work and Quotes by no later than Thursday November 2nd at noon


Proposal Submittal Due Date: November 7, 2017 at Noon.



Request for quotes for items of work available but not limited to: Bridge Demo, Clear & Grub, Erosion Control, AC Paving and related, Cold Plane AC, Joint Seal Assembly, Post Tensioning, Rebar, AC Dike and Curbs, Underground Utilities, Fencing, Metal Railing, MBGR, Bridge Concrete Barrier, Striping, Electrical, Minor Concrete, Welding, Furnish & Erect Precast Girders, Sheet Pile Installation, Dewatering, Mechanical Equipment (furnish & Install), Building Subcontractor, Wick Drains, Aggregates, Ready Mix, Concrete Pumping, Concrete Piling, Steel Welded Pipe, Underground Pipe Products, Misc. Iron & Steel, Misc. Metals, Trucking, SWPPP Plan, SWPPP Materials, Bridge Bearings, Street Sweeping, Traffic Control, Vibration Monitoring, Survey, and Quality Control Testing.

Non-SB/SDB/HUBZone/WOSB/SDVOSB Subs/Suppliers: You will be expected to carry a proportionate percentage of 2nd-tier SB/SDB/HUBZone/WOSB/SDVOSB participation with your quote. 2nd-tier participation will be evaluated with your price.

100% performance/payment bonds will be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Contact Flatiron for assistance to this solicitation, including obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Provide sub/supplier quotes as early as possible to enable estimators to perform a thorough evaluation of all quotes received. Quotes will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary to facilitate participation. Quotes must be valid for the same duration as specified by the Owner for Contract Award. We are signatory to Operators, Laborers, Ironworkers, Cement Masons, Carpenters and Pile Drivers Unions. Non-signatory subs will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our union agreements. Flatiron intends to work cooperatively with subs/suppliers for all bid items you are licensed and qualified to perform. Bid items can be split to facilitate participation from all certified firms. Flatiron West will reimburse for bond premium up to 2%. Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license # & DIR # on the quote. Firms must possess insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting project requirements. Waiver of Subrogation is required. Contact Flatiron for any assistance required by your firm.
