ADDENDUM NO. 1 ISSUED 10/27/2017

Scope of work: NPC is requesting the following trades including but not limited to: Trucking, lead compliance plan, CAS, traffic control, type II barricades, surface mounted channelizer, portable CMS, jobsite management, prep. WPCP, temp. drainage inlet protection, street sweeping, temp. concrete washout, treated wood waste, clear & grub, roadside clearing, weed germination, cultivation, soil amendment, relocate irrigation controller, packet fertilizer, group A plants, plant establishment work, concrete pavers, wood mulch, check & test existing irrigation facilities, operate existing irrigation facilities, remove irrigation facility, ½” drip irrigation tubing, certify existing backflow preventers, drip valve assembly, drinking fountain, reset trash receptacle, wood & metal accessible bench, ¾” schedule 40 plastic pipe (supply line), PVC pipe conduit (sleeve), imported topsoil, class 2 aggregate base, type “A” hot mix asphalt, tack coat, remove asphalt concrete pavement, cold plane asphalt concrete pavement, grind existing concrete pavement, structural concrete-drainage inlet, minor concrete (backfill), 18” alt pipe culvert, 12” RCP, grated line drain, abandon culvert, remove drainage facility, remove storm drain, remove culvert, remove inlet, adjust inlet, adjust frame and grate to grade, modify inlet, detectable warning surface, curb & gutter, sidewalk, removal of concrete sidewalk and driveway, removal of curb and gutter, pre/post construction surveys, misc. iron & steel, inlet frame & grate, city street lighting, pavement markers, remove roadside signs (wood post and strap and saddle bracket method), furnish unframed alum sign, one post roadside sign, install strap and saddle bracket and mast arm hanger method signs, removal and installation of striping and pavement markings, modify existing electrical system, mobilization.

He is available to answer any questions regarding scope of work, interpretation of plans, specs, bid process. NPC may also offer assistance in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, materials, supplies, etc. NPC may also require payment and performance bonds. NPC will pay bond premiums up to 1-1/2% of contract cost. NPC is a NON-UNION contractor. All subcontractors performing labor on this project must pay PREVAILING WAGES and must submit CERTIFIED PAYROLL REPORTS to NPC and upload them to DIR. INSURANCE: NPC requires to be named as additionally insured on all insurance certificates. Primary and non-contributing is required on certificates.

Your company’s certification must be current with Caltrans. We require a copy of your CURRENT CERTIFICATION with your quote. We encourage the use of DBE (Disadvantaged Business Enterprises).
