Skanska Stacy and Witbeck (SSW) is soliciting in Good Faith all interested subcontractors/suppliers as well as certified DBE companies for the following scopes of work:

6th Street Viaduct Replacement Project – Los Angeles

Bids are requested for furnish and install/supplier and/or manufacturer for the following scopes:

100% Viaduct-Arch Rib Hangers

Bids Due: Wednesday, November 29, 2017 by 2:00pm
To be considered a responsive bidder, submit all documents listed in the RFP package, pay close attention to required experience and all reference documents provided.

Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, materials, and/or supplies.

Plans and specifications are available for viewing at our office 8am to 4pm, Monday through Friday (call for appointment first) at 585 S. Santa Fe Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90013 or downloaded for free using the link above. Subcontractor Insurance Requirements: Skanska’s insurance requirements are Commercial General Liability (GL): $1M ea. occ., $1M personal injury, $2M products & completed operations agg. & general agg.; $1M Auto Liability; $5M Excess/Umbrella and $1M Workers Comp. Endorsements & waivers required are the Additional Insured End., Primary Wording End., & a Waiver of Subrogation (GL & WC). Other insurance requirements may be necessary per scope.
Subcontractors are required to furnish performance & payment bonds in the full amount of their subcontract by an admitted surety & subject to approval by SSW. SSW will pay bond premium up to 1%. Quotations must be valid for the same duration as specified by the Owner for contract award.
Conditions or exceptions in Subcontractor’s quote are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing. SSW is signatory to the Operating Engineers, Laborers, Cement Masons, Carpenters Unions and Teamsters.

This project is subject to City of Los Angeles Project Labor Agreement (PLA)
