Kiewit Infrastructure Co. is actively soliciting quotations for Materials, Contractors, Supplies and Services for the Project:

Contract: BB-3005-0000 Miscellaneous Rehabilitation of the Bay Bridge Suspension Spans
Owner: Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA)

Description of Work:
1. Eastbound Bridge Rocker Links, Wind Shoes, and Lower Tower Struts.
a. Replace existing suspension tower rocker links and pins.
b. Replace existing suspension tower wind shoes.
c. Rehabilitate existing suspension tower lower struts.
2. Rehabilitate existing Westbound Bridge Suspension Span stringer expansion bearings.
3. Renovation of the existing Eastbound Bridge navigational lighting system.
a. Replace all navigational lighting on the Eastbound William Preston Lane Bridge
b. Replace existing conduit, junction boxes, and wiring as required between the transformer assemblies and navigational lights.
c. The work will be from the west deck girder at Pier 1 to the last navigational lights on Pier 41 as shown on the Plans.

Project Duration: 550 Calendar Days

The Project has a goal to obtain 15% MBE Sub-goals of 7% African American-Owned firms and 4% for Asian American-Owned Firms. 2% Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprise goal.

Drawings & Specifications
Contract documents, including plans & specifications are listed in our Online Plan room and are provided as a courtesy to the Bidder. The files can be viewed and downloaded. The Bidder will be required to quote in compliance with all project plans and specifications. Non-Disclosure Agreements are provided when applicable. Addenda is posted and a notification is sent to all invited bidders.

Insurance Requirements
Upon award, Subcontractors must provide insurance in accordance with our subcontract agreement. A copy of the subcontractor agreement can be found in SmartBidNet Project Plan Room.

Bonding Requirements
For subcontracts the Bidder shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds equal to the full subcontract price. For Material Contracts, the Bidder shall furnish Supply Bonds in amount equal to full Material Contract price. Bond premiums are reimbursable by Kiewit/Mass. Electric Construction Co. Please provide current bond rate with Quote/Proposal or advise if you are unable to bond so that we my address this issue.
