RTA Construction, Inc. is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and vendors to provide services and materials for the following project: Bridge Street Sewer Crossings. The project will occur in Colusa, Ca. General work for this project consists of relocating sanitary sewer lines, installation of pumps, installing a manhole and connection of new line to existing sewer mains. RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all qualified/certified DBE subcontractors and vendors for all items of work, including but not limited to the following bid items: (1) Mobilization, (2) 2 inch PVC SCH 40 Pipe with 6 inch Ductile Iron Pipe Sleeve Approximately 9 foot Deep Including Trench Restoration and Backfill, (3) 3 inch PVC SCH 40 Pipe with 8 inch Ductile Iron Pipe Sleeve Approximately 9 foot Deep Including Trench Restoration and Backfill, (4) 6 inch PVC SCH 40 Pipe, (5) 48 inch Manhole Approximately 9 foot Deep, (6) Connect Existing Manhole, (7) Connect Existing Cleanout, (8) Connect to Existing Sewer Pump, (9) New Force Main Pump, Removal of Existing Pump, Install New Force Main Pump and Reconnect Existing Electrical, (10) Pothole for Existing Underground Utilities, (11) Abandon Existing Sewer Lines (Various Sizes), (12) Traffic Control Including Plan. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 1/16/18 at 2:00pm at Colusa City Hall, 425 Webster St. Colusa, Ca 95932. The DBE goal for this project is 24%. Bids for this contract are due to the owner no later than 2:00pm on 1/23/18 at which time all bids will be publically opened and read aloud.
DBE subcontractors and vendors must provide current certification. All subcontractors must have a current contractor's license, insurance coverage, and worker's compensation for the entire duration of the contract. All subcontractors must have a current DIR number. All subcontractors will be required to enter a subcontractor agreement with RTA Construction, Inc.. Project plans and specifications can be viewed at our office location.
