Project Details


We will be bidding the project which has a Combined Goal of 20% participation from Minority Business Enterprises and Women Business Enterprises that are certified in the state of New York. This project has a PLA in place. The project bids on January 31, 2018. Please submit your detailed scopes by January 24, 2018 and Final Quotes on January 29, 2018 by 12:00.

The work under this contract shall include, but not limited to, the following: No more than two RBC trains shall be out of services at any one time, rehabilitation and replacement work shall begin with
RBC-1 Submit staging and sequencing plans for review, existing RBC's and related equipment shall be removed prior to concrete rehabilitation work, existing prefabricated chemical storage building shall be relocated prior to placement of crane or other lifting equipment between the Sludge Processing Building and RBC-3, temporary sludge loading piping shall be installed prior to placement of crane or other lifting equipment between the Sludge Processing Building and RBC-3. Coordinate installation of temporary sludge loading piping with plant operations, submit crane location plan for review, existing RBC removal and new RBC installation shall coordinated with crane operations, access to treatment process equipment by plant personnel shall be maintained at all times. Containment structures for removal of asbestos containing materials (ACM) within the RBC tanks shall not obstruct plant personnel access to operating equipment including adjacent RBC's and drives and the common RBC influent channel, removal of ACM from each RBC train within the containment area shall be completed prior to installation of new RBC's and related equipment in any train within the containment area, concrete rehabilitation work shall be completed prior to installation of new RBC's and related equipment, owner's personnel shall receive training in the operation and maintenance of the new RBCs and related equipment upon completion of the installation and testing of the first RBC train to be rehabilitated and prior to the rehabilitation of the remaining trains, and upgraded RBCs shall be started and developed one at a time. Additional RBCs shall not be started until the previous RBC has developed sufficient biomass to achieve a sufficient level of treatment as determined by Plant Superintendent.
