RTA Construction, Inc. is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and vendors to provide services and materials for the following project: Quartz Hill Road Improvements Project. The Project will occur in Redding, Ca. This project proposes to improve vehicle, pedestrian, and bicycle safety on Quartz Hill Road from Terra Nova Drive to North Market Street. RTA Construction, Inc. is requesting quotes from all qualified/certified DBE subcontractors and vendors for all items of work, including but not limited to the following work items: earthwork; cold mill asphalt concrete; asphalt concrete, curb, gutter, and sidewalk; gabion walls; storm drains; street lighting; metal beam guard railing; erosion control; rectangular rapid flashing beacons; traffic striping, marking, and signs; and all other miscellaneous items of work.

The Engineer's Estimate is $3,150,000. There are 160 working days. The bid opening is at 3:00 PM on March 8, 2018. A pre-bid conference is scheduled between staff and interested bidders at 9 a.m. on February 15, 2018, in the City Hall River Conference Room at which time the project and the requirements of the funding program will be reviewed.

DBE subcontractors and vendors must provide current certification. All subcontractors must have a current contractor's license, current DIR number, insurance coverage, and worker's compensation for the entire duration of the contract. All subcontractors will be required to enter a subcontractor agreement with RTA Construction, Inc.. Project plans and specifications can be viewed at local builder's exchanges or our office location.
