General Project Description:
The work on this contract includes, but is not limited to the following:
Suspended Spans
• Rehabilitation of the existing compression seal relief joints
• Replacement of the trough drain grating
• Rehabilitation of the standpipe system along Trusses B and C
• Replacement of the large decorative brackets on the towers under the bridge superstructure
• Removal and rehabilitation/replacement of selected ornamental metal elements, including globes, corbels, cornices, bordures, and pendants, on top of the towers
• Removal and replacement of work platforms at the anchorages
• Installation of reinforcement plates and angles on the stiffening truss vertical gusset plates
• Replace south fascia railing panels
• Rehabilitate saddle and saddle housing at anchorages
Approach Spans
• Rehabilitation of the existing compression seal joints
• Replace desk joint at PP 47 (MAS)
• Rehabilitation of the standpipe system along Trusses B and C
• Installation of reinforcement plates and angles on the approach truss vertical gusset plates
• Retrofit transit floorbeam connections
• Replace south fascia railing panels
General
• Flag Repair
• Cleaning and painting of south fascia railing posts and rails
