Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: C0680 FENCING SUPPLIER; C0700 CONSTRUCTION STAKING SUPPLIER; C1200 CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; C1201 TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM; C1575 REMOVE BRIDGE ITEM; C2021 HYDROSEEDING; C2030 EROSION CONTROL; C4906 CAST-IN-DRILLED-HOLE CONCRETE PILING; C5201 REINFORCING STEEL; C5620 ROADSIDE SIGN; C7200 ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION; C8000 FENCING; C8000 FENCING CONTRACTOR; C8001 TEMPORARY FENCING; C8201 OBJECT MARKER; C8406 PAINTED TRAFFIC STRIPING & MARKING; C8603 SIGNAL; C8792 ENVIRONMENTAL - BIOLOGICAL STUDIES; C8852 SWPPP PLANNING; C9602 BOTTOM DUMP TRUCKING; C9603 TRANSFER DUMP TRUCK; C9604 SUPER 10 DUMP TRUCK. Additional Services needed: FURNISH FIELD OFFICE; TYPE III BARRICADE; TEMPORARY CONCRETE WASHOUT; WATER QUALITY SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS DAY; WATER QUALITY MONITORING AND ANNUAL REPORTS; FISH PROTECTION; TEMPORARY BRIDGE; TEMPORARY SHORING; REMOVE FENCE; 8' AND 10' METAL GATES; SALVAGE GATE; TRANSITION RAILING (TYPE WB-31); ALTERNATIVE FLARED TERMINAL SYSTEM; CALIFORNIA ST-10 BRIDGE RAIL (F). Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.

For any bid proposal submitted on or after March 1, 2015 and any contract for public work entered into on or after April 1, 2015, the following registration requirements apply: Every Subcontractor is required to be registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Public Contract Code ("Section 1725.5"). No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal pursuant to Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. No bid shall be accepted nor any subcontract entered into without proof of the Subcontractor's current registration to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5.
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
