Overall Scope of Work:
Rehabilitate and develop the existing Farley Post Office and Annex Building into what will become, in part, the new Empire Station. This will include a new train hall with retail, commercial and private development spaces. The total amount of space to be developed is approximately 1.3M GSF. All new aspects of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, elevators and escalators will be incorporated. Work will include demolition of existing structural and architectural elements, along with asbestos and lead abatement. Historic restoration of the entire exterior of the Farley Building and Annex is also included. Please note that while this project is subject to a Project Labor Agreement,
MWBE subcontractors, who are not signatories to any collective bargaining agreement, may be eligible for an exclusion. However, the MWBE subcontractor must still pay the prevailing rate of wages and benefits for its workforce. For more information, please contact the undersigned below.
