Project Scope: The Safe Routes to School Project proposes to install shared land markings. The project will also add microsurface and restripe to include bike lanes. Restripe the roadway with narrower travel lanes and bike lanes. As a result of the micro-surface and rehabilitation, all the adjacent curb ramps will be updated to current accessibility standards (ADA). New bicycle detection loops to accommodate the new bike lanes and the crosswalks will be updated to include count down pedestrian heads and accessible pedestrian signals.

Work/Supply Needed: traffic control, trucking, striping & signs, AC paving, microsurfacing, electrical

We will require that all participating companies carry Workers' Compensation & Liability Insurance and be bonded. We will assist with obtaining insurance, bonds or lines of credit. Plans and specs can be viewed at our office or emailed upon request.
