Project Details

The project generally consists of grading/earthwork; construction of vernal pools; re-alignment of creek; seeding and erosion control; demolition of existing road; stock pond berm repair; and fence replacement. Hanford ARC is seeking MBE/WBE/SBE/LSA firms for the following services:

Mobilization and demobilization including but not limited to the establishment and restoration at project completion of site access routes, staging areas, and exclusion and limit of work fencing as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications; Demolition including but not limited to all work to remove, process and off haul materials relating to decommissioning Horse Valley Road (removing AC pavement, dispose of AC and aggregate base to an approved site), culverts, general site debris as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications); Clear and Grub including but not limited to stripping and stockpiling of topsoil, and clearing and grubbing as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications); Grading including but not limited to all earthwork- excavation, hauling, placement, grading, dust control, and compaction of on-site and/or imported material- as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications including construction of wetlands, stock pond earthen berm repair, re-align stream channel, drainage improvements, earthen swale and top soil placement; Rock Placement including but not limited to all work to construct grade control, riprap, and rock swale as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications; Erosion Control and Seeding including but not limited to fabric installation, seeding, wattle placement, hydroseeding and broadcast seeding and SWPPP work as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications; Fencing including but not limited to the installation and replacement of barbed wire fence as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications. Storm water management and environmental protection including but not limited to SWPPP (including Erosion Control Plan) design, construct, implement, maintain and remove storm water pollution prevention measures, and providing erosion control materials / environmental protection materials. QSP inspection and monitoring services as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications including but not limited to Weekly inspection reports, Rain Event Action Plans, Quarterly non-storm water Inspection reports, and Final inspection report when site is stabilized. Professional Land Surveying services as shown on the Plans and/or described in the Specifications including but not limited to providing horizontal and vertical control; delineating limit of work and exclusion fencing and As-Built Surveys.



Delivery Schedule
Construction work shall be restricted to the period between June 15 and October 15, 2018 per project specifications. Hanford ARC is committed to establishing delivery schedules, where the project permits, which encourage participation by small and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms. Please contact our office to discuss any delivery schedule concerns with the project time requirements you may have that will require delivery schedule adjustment or flexibility.

Bonding, Plan & Specification Interpretation, Lines of Credit, Equipment and other assistance needs 100% performance and payment bonds may be required. Hanford ARC is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans, specifications and requirements, bid preparation and obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance and any technical assistance.
