Flatiron West, Inc. is soliciting quotes for the following, but not limited to, scopes of work, (Divisions 02 through 48): Scheduling Services, Commissioning Management Services, Video Surveillance, Erosion Control, Clearing & Grubbing, Landscape & Irrigation, Demolition, Earthwork & Grading including Site Excavation and Backfill, Dewatering, Shoring, Underground Utilities, AC Paving, PCC Paving, Rebar, Fencing, Electrical, Painting & Protective Coatings, Structural Concrete, Minor Concrete, Masonry, Welding, Concrete Pumping, Misc. Metals, Trucking, Ready Mix, Underground Precast, Asbestos Monitoring, Survey, Quality Control Testing & Management Services, Aggregates Supply including: Base and Fill material, Underground Pipe Products, Pipe Support Systems, Ductile Iron Pipe, PVC Pipe, Steel Pipe, Pipe Insulation, Precast Vaults, Misc. Valves including: Gate, Ball, Butterfly, & Check, Roofing, FRP Doors & Frames, Access Doors, Aluminum Rolling Overhead Doors, Finish Hardware/Louvers & Vents, Waterproofing/Damp Proofing, Iron & Steel, FRP Fabrications. Misc. Construction Materials, Identification Signage, Sprinkler System.



Bidders are hereby notified that work to be performed under this contract will be in full or in part financed by the Clean Water State Revolving Fund (SRF), administered by the United State Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) and the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB). The bidder shall comply with all applicable terms and conditions, special provisions, and reporting requirements, as set forth in these specifications, and as may be required by federal law, rule, or regulation. Refer to Contract Section 00 48 10 of the bid documents for more information.

The Local Business Enterprise ("LBE") participation requirement is 10% (CMD-Certified San Francisco LBEs). Flatiron requests that all bidders consider utilizing LBE firms as part of their proposals to assist us in achieving the project goal. Please indicate any lower-tier LBE/MBE/WBE/OBE firm participation on your quote.

Information regarding the plans and specifications is available through the SFPUC website at http://contracts.sfwater.org. This is an American Iron and Steel project. Quotes must be valid for same duration as specified by Owner for contract award. Quotes will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary to facilitate participation. Flatiron intends to work cooperatively with all firms for scopes of work you are licensed and qualified to perform. Scopes of work can be split to facilitate participation from certified firms. Assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies and materials is available upon request.

Subcontractors are required to possess and maintain a current contractor's license and must also be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) as required by Public Contract Code Section 1725.5. Subcontractors will be required to execute Standard Subcontract Terms and Conditions and meet insurance requirements. A copy of our Standard Subcontract Terms and Conditions is available in electronic format upon request.

Bond Requirements: Notwithstanding any contrary language in a bid to Flatiron or any prior course of dealing between Flatiron and a bidder, and unless waived in writing by Flatiron, Flatiron reserves the right, pursuant to Public Contract Code section 4108 and otherwise, to require each bidder to provide payment and performance bonds assuring bidder's obligations to Flatiron in the amount of 100 percent of the bid to Flatiron. Flatiron will reimburse the bond premium at actual cost not to exceed 2%. The surety on the bonds must be a California admitted surety.
