Granite Construction Company (Granite) is
requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors
and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the
following items of work, including but not limited
to: C1201 TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM; C1211
TRAFFIC FLAGGERS; C1601 CLEARING AND
GRUBBING; C9602 BOTTOM DUMP
TRUCKING; C9603 TRANSFER DUMP TRUCK;
C9604 SUPER 10 DUMP TRUCK; C7301
CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK, MISC; C2800
CONCRETE BASE; C8000 FENCING; C4906
CAST-IN-DRILLED-HOLE CONCRETE PILING;
C8602 SIGNAL AND LIGHTING; C5620
ROADSIDE SIGN; C8405 THERMOPLASTIC
TRAFFIC STRIPING AND MARKING; C8406
PAINTED TRAFFIC STRIPING AND MARKING;
C9867 LANDSCAPING CONTRACTOR; C5111
CONCRETE OVERLAY - DRILL AND BOND.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable
packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work
with interested subcontractors to identify
opportunities to break down items into economically
feasible packages.



For any bid proposal submitted on or after March 1,
2015 and any contract for public work entered into
on or after April 1, 2015, the following registration
requirements apply: Every Subcontractor is required
to be registered to perform public work pursuant to
Section 1725.5 of the Public Contract Code
("Section 1725.5"). No Contractor or Subcontractor
shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid
proposal pursuant to Section 4104 of the Public
Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any
contract for public work, unless currently registered
to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5.
No bid shall be accepted nor any subcontract entered
into without proof of the Subcontractor's current
registration to perform public work pursuant to
Section 1725.5.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is
signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers,
Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions.
100% performance and payment bonds may be
required for the full amount of subcontract price.
Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. The
US Small Business Administration may also assist
you in obtaining bonding - please see the following
site for information:

Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's
license, insurance and worker's compensation
coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be
required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract
Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements
and agreement can be obtained by contacting the
estimator. Please call if you need assistance in
obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials
and/or supplies. Granite intends to work
cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work
on this project.
Portions of work can be made available upon request
prior to bid date. Please call if any assistance is
