PROJECT DETAILS: The Work to be performed under this Contract is as follows: Replacement of existing concrete-filled grid deck with orthotropic steel deck within the suspended spans at the Throsgs Neck Bridge (TNB); installation of new median and side barriers throughout the TNB suspended spans: installation of new fire standpipes, between the TNB Bronx Abutment and the Queens Anchorage; installation of new roadway lighting with the TNB suspended spans and Queens Approach; removal and replacement of four (4) suspender ropes; steel repairs, strengthening and painting of the TNB main trusses and floor trusses and other associated work.

Schiavone is bidding this project and solicits your participation in preparation of its bid. Below is a general listing of the principal items of Work and shall not be construed as a complete description of the Work to be performed as follows: (Subcontractors) Bridge Painting; Bridge Shielding; Electrical; Asbestos and Lead Abatement; Water Proofing Membrane; Fire Standpipe; Paving; Rebar Installer; Line Striping (Material)
Bridge Steel Fabricator; Ready Mix Concrete; Rebar; Precast Panels; Bearings and Expansion Joints.

Please note Item Numbers on your proposal. Estimated Quantities with Units are provided.

Provide References on past/current projects if you have not provided previously along with your EMR (Safety rating).

Please provide a price proposal to Furnish/Install or Supply your scope or supply of work including but not limited to work and jobsite delivery; all in accordance with and conforming to the project contract documents and additional requirements necessary to complete the work as specified herein. The referenced work scope shall also be performed to comply with the requirements of the project schedule, Milestones, including work staging and phasing, work restrictions and constraints, site access conditions and be coordinated with all other aspects of the project.

Confidential Information: Keep all information furnished by the Authority Confidential. Confidential Information includes specifications, drawings, plans, diagrams, sketches, renderings, and other technical data and information. Confidential Information pertaining to this Project may only be utilized in connection with such Project and by individuals who, in fact, have a "need to know" the contents of such Confidential Information, must be appropriately safeguarded. Contractors and Vendors shall not and hereby represent that it will not send, ship, mail, deliver, email, or otherwise transmit any such Confidential Information in any form or by any means outside of the United States. Breach of this provision may be deemed by the Authority to be a material breach of the Contract.
