1. Unheated storage for salt and sand mixture approximately 20'x40' (800 sq.ft)
a. Concrete floor with minimum 6' high concrete sidewall capable of supporting lateral loads from placing and removal of Sand/Salt mixture.
b. Open end wall access with minimum width of 16', 18' preferred.
c. Concrete floor coating system to resist salt corrosion.
2. Snow removal equipment storage area consisting of following:
a. 100 Amp, 480VAC welding equipment receptacle, and
b. Electrical outlets to support use for engine block heaters.
c. Unit heater to maintain up to 50°F
d. Concrete floor with coating system to resist corrosion due to salt.
e. 36" insulated man door with canopy
f. 18' minimum insulated overhead door with lites
g. Suitable height to allow for storage of payloader
h. Appropriate work area LED lighting
i. Ventilation ceiling fan(s)
j. The equipment storage area information was obtained and is memorialized in section 9.3 as a sketch provided by the stake holder department internal to NYPA.
3. Overall Building Structure and Site
a. Design Building Site Life - 40 years
b. Preference for heavier gauge metal siding and roofing

c. Aesthetically consistent with existing structures
d. The building is primarily intended for cold storage and will be heated as needed to facilitate field spot maintenance. The equipment storage area is not intended to act as an office, conditioned work area, welding booth, nor a painting booth.
