This Project will require over 50,000 SY of full strength and shoulder demolition; 200,000 CY of earthwork; 90,000 SY of Base Material; 9,000 Tons of asphalt pavement; 50,000 SY of concrete pavement; 180,000 SF of airfield marking; a half mile of service road improvements; 5,200 LF of fencing; new drainage pipe and structures; 300 new airfield light bases (170+ fixtures); 100 new Airfield Guidance Signs; over 1.5M pounds of structural reinforcing steel (bridge only); over 7,000 CY of structural concrete (bridge only); and over 3,400 LF of 48 diameter inch drilled shafts.

INVITATION TO BID. Superior Construction Company is seeking qualified W/MBE Subcontractors and Suppliers certified by Hillsborough County, City of Tampa, FL Dept. Management Services or FLUCP for the TIA New Taxiway A & Bridge Project to be bid on March 27th. Subcontractor and Vendor opportunities include, but not limited to: aggregates, borrow material, concrete ready mix, reinforced earth walls, pipe inspection, erosion control, pipe (utility & storm sewer), drainage structures, asphalt, concrete flatwork & paving, electrical, fencing, grassing, trucking, pavement markings, qc/testing, rebar, signs, sitework, utilities.
