Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified DBE subcontractors, suppliers & truckers for construction (HMA, CIP Bridges, Retaining & Sound Walls, and Modify Electrical) on Hwy. 101 in Sonoma County in Petaluma from Route 101/116 Separation to 0.4 mile North of Corona Road Overcrossing (04-SON-101-3.7/7.2). Quotes requested include, but are not limited to, the following scopes of work: CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, ROADSIDE SIGNS, SIGN STRUCTURE, SIGNAL, LIGHTING, TRAFFIC CONTROL, FABRIC & OILS, COLD PLANE, DEMOLITION/BRIDGE REMOVAL, CLEAR & GRUB, LANDSCAPE/HIGHWAY PLANTING, HYDROSEED, EROSION CONTROL, IRRIGATION, LIME TREAT, AC DIKE, PILE DRIVING, CIDH PILES, GROUND ANCHOR (SUBHORIZONTAL), PRESTRESSING CONCRETE CAST-IN-PLACE, STRUCTURAL SHOTCRETE, STRUCTURAL CONCRETE, MINOR CONCRETE STRUCTURE, FURNISH POLYESTER CONCRETE OVERLAY, PLACE POLYESTER CONCRETE OVERLAY, CONCRETE (DITCH LINING), SLOPE PAVING (CONCRETE), VEGETATION CONTROL (MINOR CONCRETE), LEAN CONCRETE BASE, SOUND WALL-MASONRY, JOINT SEAL, REINFORCING STEEL, CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK-MISC., FENCING, TEMPORARY RAILING (TYPE K), TEMPORARY CRASH CUSHION MODULE, TEMPORARY ALTERNATIVE CRASH CUSHION, METAL BEAM GUARD RAILING, METAL RAILING, CONCRETE BARRIER, THERMOPLASTIC STRIPING & PAVEMENT MARKINGS, SWPPP PLANNING, STORM DRAIN (UNDERGROUND), 24" SANITARY SEWER MAIN, 6" SANITARY SEWER FORCE MAIN, 33" WATER MAIN, STREET SWEEPING, MATERIAL SUPPLIER & TRUCKING. GCC may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)

Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. They may also be downloaded for free through the Department of Transportation via their website at http://www.dot.ca.gov/hq/esc/oe/contract_awards_services.html. Plans may also be viewed or purchased through local plan rooms, builder's exchanges, or Dodge Scan. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Req: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. GCC's written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection on GCC's website (www.ghilotti.com/subcontractors/documents) and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.

Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form 'CG-2010-1185' or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
