Kerex Engineering, Inc. is requesting quotes from all qualified DBE & Non-DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the following items of work including but not limited to:
The work to be done generally consists of installing 26 curb ramps in the Tara Hills residential area. The curb ramps will be placed on Shamrock Drive, Dolan Way, and Flannery Road. Bulb-outs will be installed at the intersection of Dolan Way and Flannery Road. Other project work includes drainage modifications, sign replacement, and thermoplastic striping and pavement markings.

Kerex Engieering, Inc. can assist in payment of a reasonable bond premium. A 100% payment bond and performance bond may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Please provide a bond premium rate with your quote. If you have any questions, need assistance in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance in services, please contact Patrick Madden at our office. Please note that no contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal for a public works project (submitted on or after March 1, 2015) unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 [with limited exceptions from this requirement for bid purposes only under Labor Code section 1771.1(a)]. Subcontractors must possess a current contractors license, insurance and workers compensation coverage meeting the owners requirements and will be required to sign the standard Kerex Engineering, Inc. subcontract agreement. Plans and Specifications are available to be viewed in our office located at 3478 Buskirk Ave. Suite 1000, Pleasant Hill, CA 94523 between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday by appointment or you can send a request for this project and we will send you the specs/plans.
