South Tahoe Public Utility District - 2019 Rocky Point II Waterline Replacement REBID and Large Meters Replacement Project, South Lake Tahoe, CA. The work to be performed consists of: installation of approximately 4,000 linear feet of 8" water main and associated water services and residential meters, fire hydrants, mainline connections, installation of 4 large (6" and 8" diameter) water meters, installation of a 6" pressure reducing valve (PRV) station and site restoration including landscaping, paving and other related work. Residential water meters, meter antenna units, and lids and frames for water meter pits will be provided by STPUD and installed by the Contractor; the 4 large water meters will be provided and installed by the Contractor. Vinciguerra Construction is seeking quotes for all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE, UDBE, WBE, MBE, SBE Firms for the following items of work included but not limited to: Erosion Control/Revegetation Materials furnish & placement, SWPPP, Dewatering, Waterworks Supplies & Appurtenances (Water Main Piping, Pipe Fitting's, Gate Valves, Valve Boxes, Fire Hydrants, Tapping Sleeves, 6in and 8in Water Meters, Pressure Reducing Valve, and Water Service Valves), Sheeting, Shoring, & Bracing, Traffic Control, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control, Excavation/Earth Work, Sawcutting, Asphalt Milling, Asphalt Concrete; furnish & placement, Aggregate Base; furnish & placement, Import Soil; furnish & Placement, Concrete; furnish & placement, Pre Cast Concrete Vaults, Pavement Striping, Electrical (PRV Controller, PRV Generation Unit, Cellular Modem), and Trucking. Our firm will consider dividing total requirements, when economically feasible, into smaller tasks or quantities to permit maximum participation by DBE's in the competitive process. Our company will also consider consortium of DBE's should a contract be too large for firms to handle individually.
