Project Details

Downing Construction, Inc., dba Downing Underground, Inc. is seeking Certified DBE (MBE/WBE/SBE/SBRA) subs and suppliers for, but not limited to, the following:
Masonry, Seeding, Landscaping, PVC Pipe & Appurtenance Supplier, Sign Fabrication, Manholes, Aggregates, Fencing, Asphalt/Paving, Striping, Concrete, Fire Hydrants, Sanitary Facilities, Soils Testing, Directional Drilling, Jack and Bore. This project consists of installing a new 18" PVC water main between the termination points of existing water mains at Three Mile Drive and Stillwater Road. The total project includes approximately 14,300 feet of 18" PVC and 800 feet of 24" HDPE (directionally drilled) water main installation.

Plans and specifications can be examined through QuestCDN located on the City of Kalispell website at http://www.kalispell.com/clerk/projects_bids_proposals.php. In the left-hand navigation click on the project title, a page will open which will allow you to either view or download the plans and view or print the plan holders list. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting on August 15, 2019 at 3:00 pm at Kalispell City Hall Lower Level Conf Rm, 201 First Ave E, Kalispell, MT. Please provide quotes no later than 4:00 PM Montana local time on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 to allow for review and preparation of Good Faith Effort. All DBEs will need to submit a copy of their Certification with their quote. This project is funded by the Montana State Revolving Fund Program and subs must comply with the Davis Bacon Act, the DBE participation/Good Faith Efforts & other SRF requirements per the project specifications. Downing is an EOE. Downing offers assistance with obtaining plans, specs, bonding and insurance. Please email the project coordinator with your requests.
