Granite Construction Northeast, Inc. (Granite) is planning to submit a proposal for the NYSDOT's Bridge Replacement of LIRR over the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens Project (D264148)

The Project includes the replacement of the LIRR Atlantic 6 Bridge (i.e. southernmost LIRR bridge) over the Van Wyck Expressway in Queens County.

The Bridge Replacement of LIRR over the Van Wyck Expressway project has M/WBE participation opportunities, and Granite is seeking qualified New York State certified M/WBE's to provide Subcontract/Supplier/Service Opportunities for categories that potentially include, but are not necessarily limited to:

Aggregates/Fill, Earthwork, Landscaping (Topsoil & Tree Rmvl), Pest Control, Asbestos Abatement, Electrical, Lead Abatement, Sawing & Sealing, Ballast, Electrical, Maintenance & Protection of Traffic (MPT), Scheduling (CPM), Bearings/Expansion Jnts, Material Testing, Security Services, Clearing & Grubbing, Engineer's Office/Supplies, Milling, Sheeting, Concrete, Environmental, Misc Metals, Signage/Sign Structures, Concrete Barrier, Erosion Control, Painting (inc cleaning) (Struct Stl), Soldier Piles & Lagging, Contaminated/Hazardous Material (rmvl & testing/monitoring), Fencing, Painting/Coating, Stud Shear Connectors, Flatwork, Pavement Markings, Structural Steel, Crack/Concrete Repairs, Fuel Supply, Paving (Asph & Conc), Support of Excavation (SOE), Demolition, Health/Safety, Survey, Dewatering/Groundwater Control, Highway Shielding (temporary), Photography/Video/Webcam, Trucking
