Project Details

Wickman Development and Construction is seeking 3% participation from DVBE Subcontractors and Suppliers for A.P. Giannini M.S. Modernization Project located at 3151 Ortega St, San Francisco, CA
94122. Wickman Development and Construction is signatory to the Carpenter's and Laborer's Unions of Northern California Master Agreement. All sub-contractors who intend to bid scopes of work to Wickman Development and Construction that fall under the Master Agreement of these unions must also be signatory to these unions or we cannot list them for that portion of work. Plans available at San Francisco Builders Exchange or can be send via email if requested. Bid due to Wickman Development and Construction by 03/26/2020 at 10AM (always 4 hours prior to bid submittal).



1. The Project. The Project is generally described as:
Modernization of building systems including but not limited to HVAC, plumbing, electrical,
lighting, telecommunications, alarm, security, seismic improvements including shear walls and
FRP straps, new exterior windows and existing exterior finish repair, reroofing of the entire
campus, interior construction and finishes (flooring, ceiling, painting), and improvements at
existing bathrooms throughout, and a new front entry stair and ramp. Complete remodeling of
the kitchen area, and relocation of the administration offices. Site work improvements ramp
modifications, re-routing of existing utilities, planters, temporary electrical service, hazardous
material abatement and installation and removal of interim housing units. The Estimated
construction value of the work is $25,500,000.
2. Project Labor Agreement: All Bidders are hereby notified that the District has a
Project Labor Agreement (PLA) in effect on the Project and all contractors and subcontractors
bidding this project will be required to comply with the PLA.
3. Pre-Qualification: All Bidders are hereby notified that this Project is subject to the
District's Pre-Qualification Procedure. All General Contractors and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Subcontractors must be prequalified in order to bid on this project. No bids will be received or opened from Bidders who have not been pre-qualified through the District's Pre-Qualification Procedure.
