Ford Construction Company, Inc. is requesting quotes form all qualified DBE subcontractors, service providers, material suppliers, and trucking firms for the items of work including, but not limited to: traffic control system, prepare water pollution control program, temp fiber roll, temp creek diversion system, temp high visibility fence, tree removal, hydroseed, willow stakes, hot mix asphalt (type A), structural concrete-headwall, reinforcing steel-headwall, bridge removal, remove road sign, guardrail system, cable railing, alternative in-line terminal system, painted traffic stripe, construction staking, water truck, or any other item of work, service, or material on this project that your firm is qualified to perform or furnish.

Items of work may be broken down into economically feasible packages to encourage and facilitate participation.

Plans and specifications for this project are available for viewing at Ford's office by appointment, and /or at the Calaveras County Department of Public Works, www.publicpurchase.com, and / or through Ford's ShareFile site (contact for to receive link to site and bid documents). Please submit quotes via email to: est@ford-construction.com. Please include current DBE certification, and subcontractors need to include DIR and contractor's license number.

Ford is union contractor, signatory to the Laborers and Operating Engineers unions. Ford will require all subcontractors to have insurance coverage meeting the contract requirements. Performance and Payment Bonds may be required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Ford will reimburse subcontractors for the cost for bond premiums. Please contact Ford if your firm has any questions or needs assistance with bonding, insurance, lines of credit, equipment, materials, supplies, or any other related service necessary to participate in this project. Ford desires and intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking to participate in this project.
