City of Gardena's Transportation Department (GTrans) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications seeking firms for the Design and Construction of the compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicle fueling system located at the bus administration, operating and maintenance facility in Gardena, CA, including installation of new CNG equipment and CNG-safe garage modifications.

GTrans' annual overall goal for DBE participation for Fiscal Year 2019-2021 is 7%. A specific DBE participation goal has not been established for this contract. However, DBE and SBE prime contractors and DBE and SBE subcontractors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to compete for this contract.

Design-Build Entity must complete and submit Form A "Addenda Acknowledgement" and Form B "Pre-Qualification of Design-Build Entities Seeking to Bid on Transit Projects," which are both available with the RFQual. Insurance requirements are outlined in Exhibit A, "Insurance Requirements," of the RFQual. Additional details will be provided during the solicitation for an offer process.Bonds and other information can be found in the RFQual, under section 6 "General Instructions and Requirements."
