CITY OF REDDING HARTNELL AVENUE SAFETY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

RTA Construction, Inc. is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and vendors to provide services and materials for the following project: Hartnell Avenue Safety Improvement Project. The project will be located in Redding, Ca.

The proposed work includes but is not limited to construction of bicycle and pedestrian safety improvements along Hartnell Avenue between Churn Creek Road and Victor Avenue. The improvements include enhanced crossings, buffered bike lanes, completing sidewalk gaps, installing ADA compliant curb ramps, applying microsurfacing, installing additional street lighting and some minor signal modifications and improvements to the existing open channel near Lawrence Street, all as detailed on the plans and in these specifications.

Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 777 Cypress Avenue, Redding, CA 96001, until 3 pm, April 23, 2020, at which time the will be publicly opened and read for the performing of the work.

The engineer's estimate is $1,792,743. There are 120 working days.

DBE subcontractors and vendors must provide current certification. All subcontractors must have a current contractor's license, current California DIR Registration, insurance coverage, and worker's compensation for the entire duration of the contract. All subcontractors will be required to enter a subcontractor agreement with RTA Construction, Inc.. Project plans and specifications can be viewed at RTAC's office location.
