The purpose of this RFP is to solicit bids from qualified entities with in-depth expertise in greenhouse gas (GHG) and air quality modeling, climate mitigation, and climate adaptation. The selected contractor will support the District to implement a SB1 Adaptation Planning Grant by providing environmental and engineering services to build climate adaptation into a statewide GHG toolkit. The selected Contractor will be responsible for developing a new version of California Air Pollution Control Officers Association's (CAPCOA) Quantifying Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Measures, A Resource for Local Government to Assess Emission Reductions from Greenhouse Gas Mitigation Measures (August 2010) (GHG Handbook).
