This project is located at the Newburgh-Beacon Hudson River Crossing along Interstate Route 84 in Orange County and Dutchess County, New York, approximately 60 miles north of New York City and 90 miles south of Albany.

The scope of work under this contract is briefly described as, but not limited to, the following:

1) Remove the existing superstructure deck for the entire length of the North Span and replace the deck with new Cast-In-Place Concrete and Steel Grid Deck.

2) Remove existing toll plaza.

3) Install the new All-Electronic Toll Collection.

4) Remove and install various electrical wiring and equipment.

5) Repair structural steel along the existing superstructure and replace bearings where called out on the plans.

6) Perform various sitework operations such as excavation and backfill, flatwork, landscaping, milling and paving, and line striping.

7) Install Drilled Shafts to support overhead sign structures and gantry structural steel for the new AETC.

8) Install precast concrete pavement slabs at the east end of the South Span Bridge.

9) Install a prefabricated concrete building for the new AETC.

10) Construct temporary cross-overs at both ends of the bridge.

Concrete Flatwork, Precast Concrete Pavement Slabs, Saw Cutting, Grooving Concrete Pavement, Protective Sealing of Concrete Pavement, Lead Abatement, Lighting/Electrical, Fiber Optics, Solar Installation, Reinforcing Steel, Structural Steel, Steel Repairs, Bearings, Scuppers & Bridge Downspout System, Armorless Bridge Joints, Bridge Painting, Drainage Pipes and Drainage Structures, Castings, Cleaning of Existing Drainage Systems, Surveying, Field Office Trailer and Supplies, Overhead Sign Structures, Line Striping, Shear Studs, Geotextiles, Soil Erosion & Sediment Control, Drilled Shafts, Miscellaneous Metals for Architectural Work, Guide Rails, Flatwork, Prefabricated Concrete Building, Toll Facility Security System.

*All NYS MBE/WBE/SDVOB certificates must be current at bid time and remain current for the duration of the project.

Plans, Specifications, Addendum, and Boiler Plate Templates of our Subcontract/Purchase Order ("Agreement") are available on SmartBidNet.com, your firm will be required to execute IF AWARDED the contract. You must base your bid upon the contractual terms and conditions as they are reflected in the Agreement, without amendment. The upstream contractual environment on the Project is demanding and we will not entertain revision to the contractual boilerplate, which should instead be reflected in your bid price.
