Project Details

The Lane-Security Paving Joint Venture (LSPJV) is seeking qualified Subcontractors, DBE Subcontractors, and material suppliers for the listed categories of work for the I-10 Corridor Express Lanes. The Design-Build project will provide two Express Lanes in each direction of the I-10 from the Los Angeles/ San Bernardino County Line to east of the I-10/I15 Interchange. A new Express Lane will be constructed in each direction extending from the Los Angeles/ San Bernardino County Line to Haven Avenue in Ontario and the existing HOV lane in each direction will be repurposed as an Express Lane to provide two Express Lanes in each direction, east of Haven Avenue to east of the I-15, two Express Lanes will be constructed in each direction.
LSPJV is requesting subcontractor bids from the following categories of work:
Repair Existing RCP, Line Steel Pipe (CIPP), Furnish & Install Polyester Concrete Overlay, Temporary Shoring Tie-Backs, Welding, Cast-in-Place Retaining Walls, One-sided Facia, Abutments and Wing Walls (footing and structure) Bent Caps, End/ Middle Diaphragms, Deck Work, select drainage systems.

LSPJV intends to award subcontracts/ material contracts to the lowest responsible bidder. LSPJV will utilize price, past performance/ experience, safety record, available resources, quality management, bonding capacity and insurability as criteria for determining the lowest responsible bidder. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required. Contact our office for assistance with obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, or equipment. LSPJV will work cooperatively and in good faith with all qualified firms. LSPJV is willing to break out parts of this contract's items of work into economically feasible units to facilitate maximum DBE participation. The DBE goal is 10%. LSPJV will contact firms certified by CUCP.
Subcontractors must possess a valid California Contractor's License and DIR Registration Number. LSPJV is signatory to Laborers, Operating Engineers, Cement Masons, Carpenters, and Teamsters. Prevailing Wage and Certified Payroll is required. Subcontractors shall comply with the Good Faith Effort in conformance with Title 49 CFR, Part 26. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
