Project Details

The construction of the Project is anticipated to consist of two phases, Phase II, which will have two Increments, and Phase III as described below. District approval of each construction Phase and issuance of a Notice to Proceed with the construction work in each Increment is an express condition precedent before the construction work of that Phase and/or Increment may commence.

Increment 1 - Two New 3-story Classroom Buildings. (F&S), electrical enclosure, student parking lot, fire lane, associated utilities, landscape and hardscape.

Phase II - Increment 2 New Multipurpose Building B2 (approx. 36,000 sq ft), bus drop off, parking at bus loop, associated utilities, landscape and hardscape. Within this MP building there is a new servery, MP/dining, presentation arena, black box theater, media commons with broadcasting booth and classrooms. Respondents will submit a fee proposal form based on an assumed direct cost of construction.

Phase III - New pool and its associated support building and miscellaneous other hardscape and softscape improvements. Respondents will submit a fee proposal form based on an assumed direct cost of construction.



Flint Builders is signatory to the Carpenters and Laborers Unions
This project requires prevailing wages be paid, pursuant to California Department of Industrial Relations Prevailing Wage Requirements. Certified Payroll will be required.
Flint Builders requires that all subcontractors have and maintain a valid and active California State Contractor's license at the time of bid and throughout the duration of the project while under contract to perform their scope(s) of work.
All subcontractors submitting bids on Public Works Projects must be registered with the California Department of Industrial Relations.
Flint Builders requires a Waiver of Subrogation from all successful subcontractors.
Flint Builders requires a completed prequalification questionnaire from all subcontractors prior to issuance of a subcontract.
Flint Builders' Standard Form of Agreement (Subcontract) will be used for this project. Execution of Subcontract is required by all successful bidders.
Bonding: Upon review of pre-qualification forms Flint reserves the right to require 100% Payment and Performance Bonds. Initial cost of Payment and Performance Bonds will be paid by Flint directly to the subcontractor's surety. Subcontractors will be required to pay for any increases due to time and contract price revisions.
Submission of a bid or proposal to Flint Builders represents an acknowledgement that the bidding entity has reviewed all of the bid documents, including addenda.
Disadvantaged subcontractors and vendors certified by the State of California and/or US Federal Government are strongly encouraged to submit bids.
This project includes a 3.0% DVBE goal for subcontractors and Material Suppliers.
This project includes Skilled and Trained Work Force requirements per CA Public Contract Code.
