Project Details

Garney Pacific, Inc is proposing on the Conveyance Infrastructure Project of the Pure Water Soquel Program as a Prime General Contractor. We are actively seeking sub-bids on all trades from qualified & certified DBE, DVBE, WBE, MBE, and Local subcontractors & suppliers. The Conveyance Infrastructure Project will consist of the construction of conveyance infrastructure for Source Water, ROC, and Purified Water. The Source Water Pipeline will convey tertiary treated effluent from the Santa Cruz WWTF to the Chanticleer AWPF site; The ROC pipeline will convey the ROC and any reject or excess water to the Santa Cruz TTF along the same alignment of the tertiary treated effluent pipeline where it will terminate at a connection to the outfall; and The Purified Water Pipeline will convey purified water from the AWPF to the SWIP injection wells. The Engineers Estimate is $30,000,000.00 - $40,000,000.00.

Subcontractors are required to meet insurance and labor requirements provided in the project specifications. Subcontractors may be required to provide 100% Payment and Performance Bonds. All proposals are required to be in accordance with the plans, specifications until completion of contract. Proposals for this project are to be sent to gpiestimating@garney.com no later than October 5th, 2020 @ 12:00pm.

Program Funding
Components of this Program may be funded, in whole or in part, by various sources, including, but not limited to
• The Proposition 1 Groundwater Grant Program administered by the California State Water Resources Control Board (State Water Board)
• The Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) program (partnership between State of California and US Environmental Protection Agency) low-cost financing
• The Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) program, and
• The Bureau of Reclamation's Title XVI program.
Additional requirements may be applicable to this contract based on the funding sources acquired, ie. the use of American Iron and Steel is required by these entities.

Outreach Terms & Requirements-To view or obtain plans, specs, and project document, FIRMS should contact the CONTRACTOR to get required project resource. -The CONTRACTOR will provide FIRMS, if requested, with required assistance in bonding, insurance.
-Quotes per project bid items must be submitted before the due bid date and time to allow proper evaluation.
-Quotes are required to be in accordance with project plans, specs, and good for the entire contract duration.
- The project is a prevailing wage public job. The FIRM's quote must consider all terms related to prevailing wages terms.
- FIRMS must possess and maintain a current contractor license, insurance, and worker compensation coverage during the project
-100% payment bond and performance bond for the full amount of the subcontract price may be required.
-FIRMS that submit their quote explicitly acknowledge and agree to all above terms and responsibilities.
