Project Details

SCOPE: Alten Construction is under contract with BUSD to bid this lease-leaseback project out to subcontractors.
Renovation of the classroom wing at Berkeley High School Classroom Building A/Theater Building including seismic upgrade, rebuilding floor levels, and all new systems. Renovation of the stage box including seismic upgrade, new crossover hallway, replace rigging system. Student lobby main level addition & upper level addition for building elevator. Minor site work.

MEP+FS Subcontractors MUST be prequalified with District - Contact Alten if you need to be PQ'd
Prevailing Wage Required; PLA (with local hire requirements)
Skilled & Trained Workforce Requirements (Chapter 2.9 commencing with Section 2600 of the Public Contract Code, in accordance with the statutes enacted pursuant to Senate Bill 693 (Hueso) and Senate Bill 418 (Hernandez)
5% Retention / See Item 35 Extracted from Construction Services Agreement for Insurance Requirements
