On-Call work on as needed basis for repairs of existing water, sewer, and storm drain systems.

We are soliciting quotes for work as follows: CCTV INSPECTIONS OF EXISTING PIPELINES, service laterals, manholes and fittings; including traffic control, nuisance water protection, debris removal, hauling and disposal, safety requirements, etc. Inspections shall include, but are not limited to: system-wide as needed blockage responses, quality control and hot spot inspections as directed by the Engineer. CLEANING OF PIPELINES, including traffic control, hauling, disposal of debris, and necessary materials. SECTIONAL SPOT REPAIRS, such as VCP sewer mains, water mains, and storm drain mains, including tie-in connections to existing pipelines, service laterals, manholes, catch basins or inlets, fittings, and other appurtenances necessary to complete the work, removal and installation, and surface restoration and testing. REMOVAL, REPLACEMENT AND/OR INSTALLATION OF WET UTILITY FACILITIES, including but not limited to valves, fire hydrants, meters, sewer manholes and cleanouts, storm drain catch basins and inlets, manholes, and other items appurtenant to the facilities. Miscellaneous work including rehabilitation of sewer mains using cured-in-place pipe, removal and replacement of damaged water or storm drain pipes, potholing, removal of excess water, and excavating and hauling contaminated soil to approved disposal facilities

SBE or VSBE. This project is subject to the Port of Long Beach (POLB) Small Business Enterprises (SBE)/Very Small Business Enterprises (VSBE) Program. Goal is 27% to include minimum of 5% for VSBE.

All Subcontractors must be licensed in the State of California at the time of bid and have a valid DIR Registration Number. Colich & Sons, LP is a Union Signatory Contractor to Operating Engineers and Southern California Laborers and thus any subcontractor must be signatory or willing to sign a project labor agreement. Subcontractors and suppliers are advised to submit their quotes by Friday December 11, 2020, close of business, for evaluation and completion of all necessary forms to submit with our bid.

Plans, Specifications and the proposal package are available at our office at no cost Monday through Friday at our office located at 547 W. 140th Street, Gardena, CA 90248. Assistance in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, supplies, materials or related services are available to all firms. Colich & Sons, LP is also willing to break any work items down into smaller categories or quantities and we can also arrange delivery schedules in order to facilitate maximum SBE/VSBE business participation.
