We are seeking quotes for the following trades: survey, site demolition, earthwork, site utilities, electrical, and electrical enclosure walls.

Project Description: Demolition of site elements at Northeast area of campus in preparation for Building K. Demolition includes parking lot, site work required for utilities / under slab work for building K, soil excavation work for Building K pad, hardscape and softscape. Construction of building pad for Bldg. K, underground infrastructure, and electrical service enclosure.

The subcontractor shall include in his/her bid all labor, materials, equipment, taxes, and insurance, as required for a complete scope of work and in conformance with the contract documents. The project requires prevailing wages be paid to all on site workers and adherence to state skilled and trained workforce requirements.

Work to be performed under the Contract Documents requires a California State License Board Contractor License, consistent with the work to be performed by the Subcontractor and registration with the state Department of Industrial Relations. The Bidder's registration must remain active
throughout the term of the Contract.

Bonding: Not required for subcontractors who are prequalified.

Union Status: Flint Builders is signatory to the Carpenters and Laborers Unions.

Skilled & Trained Workforce: Subcontractor and its subcontractors are required to comply with Education Code Section 17407.5 and PCC Section 2600 et seq. with respect to a skilled and trained workforce, including without limitation the requirement that specified percentages of the workforce, which percentages change over time, must be graduates of an approved apprenticeship program. For each calendar month during the Work, Subcontractor and its subcontractors are required to provide a compliance report to Flint Builders, using the format provided as Exhibit "J" in the Subcontract agreement, or in a substantially similar format, demonstrating compliance with this Paragraph M.

DVBE Good Faith Efforts: Compliance with Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) contracting goals is required under this Construction Services Agreement. In accordance with Education Code section 17076.11 the District has a DVBE participation goal of 3% per year of the overall dollar amount of state funds allocated to the District pursuant to the Leroy F. Greene School Facilities Act of 1998 and expended each year
by the District. The District is seeking DVBE participation under this Construction Services Agreement. The Contractor is required to request Subcontractors to make a good faith effort to contact and utilize DVBE contractors and suppliers in securing bids for performance of the Project.
