This project will construct a new "Employee Services Center" at the central terminal mezzanine which will include credentialing, training, and employee parking transaction service spaces in a "one-stop shop" for all employees at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. To create this Employee Services Center, the project will combine and remodel the vacated Lost and Found office, the vacated meditation room, the existing credential center and training office to create a consolidated center and adjacent waiting area for airport employees. There will be electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and communication work to update the space for functionality. The project will include asbestos abatement and will include WELL Certification requirements to meet or exceed Silver Level Certification.
Subcontractor and supplier opportunities are available but not limited to the following categories of work: demolition subcontractor; asbestos abatement subcontractor; wood, plastic & composite subcontractor; rough carpentry subcontractor; thermal insulation subcontractor; metal doors & frames subcontractor; gypsum board subcontractor; coating/painting subcontractor; accoustical ceiling subcontractor; flooring subcontractor; toilet and break room accessories supplier; fire suppression subcontractor; plumbing subcontractor; HVAC subcontractor; electrical subcontractor; communications subcontractor; and electronic safety and security subcontractor.
Engineer's Estimate: $3,400,000
Participation Goals: WMBE - 9%

We also encourage the utilization of apprentices for this project.
