K.G. Walters Construction is seeking qualified certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the Tahoe City PUD West Lake Tahoe Regional Water Treatment Plant. Quotes requested include but aren't limited to the following scopes of
work: traffic control, revegetation, landscaping, surveying, demolition, dewatering, earthwork, shoring, QA/QC materials, testing, AC paving, striping, signage, underground piping, monitoring well destruction, fence, rebar, masonry, insulation, structural steel and decking, cabinetry, roofing, overhead doors, glass/glazing, ceramic tile, resinous flooring, drywall, painting/coatings, HVAC, plumbing, fire sprinklers, electrical and instrumentation, rock, erosion control, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, misc. metals. building materials, trusses, cabinets, hollow metal doors, piping. valves, gates, stainless steel tank, surge tank, underground fiberglass tank, chemical tanks, specialties, pumps and plant equipment
An Equal Opportunity Employer Require 100% payment and performance bonds. Premium up to 1.5% paid by contractor.
Standard payment terms are 95% progress payments, 5% retention unless other terms are provided for in prime contract. Subcontractors, suppliers and vendors shall apply the same affirmative steps for DBE participation as required in the specifications to be responsive.
Subcontractors must possess a valid contractor license, DIR registration and current insurance meeting K.G. Walters requirements. Subcontractors will be required to sign K.G. Walters Construction standard subcontract agreement.
Quotations must be valid for 120 days after specified award date by owner.
