Design Build Services for Metro North Railroad Penn Station Access Project

The Penn Station Access Project (the Project) will provide MNR customers with service into and out of Penn Station Amtrak's Hell Gate Line (HGL) located in the Bronx, NY. The Project will consist of the design and construction of additional passenger tracks, traction power substations, overhead contact systems, new interlockings, updated communication systems, new signal systems and the retrofit or replacement of undergrade bridges within Amtrak's HGL right of way. The Project will also consist of the design and construction of four (4) new ADA-accessible Metro North Railroad passenger stations in the eastern Bronx along the HGL - Hunts Point, Parkchester/Van Nest, Co-op City, and Morris Park.

Specific work for this Project includes but is not limited to the following: selective demolition, site work, foundations, retaining walls, structural steel bridge girders, structural steel canopy and overpass framing, precast concrete plank, precast concrete barrier, masonry, metal roofing, glass curtainwall systems, aluminum entrances and storefront, stainless steel guardrails and handrails, fencing, tactile warning striping, rubbing board, waterproofing, carpentry, wood and metal ceilings, painting and coatings, doors, signage, enhanced station initiative (ESI) amenities, specialty artwork installation, site utilities, sidewalks, decorative unit paving, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, snowmelt, electrical, communications, AV, and CCTV systems, and other trades associated with this type of work
