e. Four (4), 3.2 million gallon, post-tensioned, cast-in-place concrete digesters measuring eighty-two (82)-feet in interior diameter and approximately eighty-nine (89)-feet in sidewall height with concrete covers equipped with five (5) manways and four (4) sample ports. Digester tanks include aluminum cladding
system over exterior sprayed foam insulation barrier.
f. Cast-in-place concrete, partially buried equipment gallery at the base of the digesters constructed on a matt foundation at a finished floor elevation at twelve (12.0)-feet NAVD88.
g. Single-story gas room above the equipment gallery with an approximately four thousand two hundred thirty-four (4,234) square-foot footprint, with elevated cast-in-place concrete floor slabs supported by reinforced concrete columns, masonry exteriors and concrete roof slab.
h. Single-story control building above the equipment gallery with an approximately four thousand four hundred sixty-six (4,466) square-foot footprint, with an elevated cast-in-place concrete floor slab supported by reinforced concrete columns, masonry exteriors and concrete roof slab.
i. Single story, above ground digester feed pump station with an approximately fifty-five hundred (5,500) square-foot footprint, with a grade level cast-in-place concrete floor slab, reinforced concrete columns and beams, masonry exteriors and concrete roof slab.
j. Two (2) stairway towers, from equipment gallery to top of digesters with structural steel and cast-in-place concrete columns and beams, masonry exteriors and a concrete roof slab.
k. Prefabricated guardhouse at the new plant gate near the intersection of Ryawa Avenue and Manida Street.
l. Prefabricated, walkway bridges between digester tanks and stairway towers with a canopy roof.
m. Below grade, cast-in-place concrete pipe chase between the existing thickener building and new digester facility.
n. Digester feed system consisting of ductile iron piping from the discharge of each active gravity thickener discharge pump to two (2) mechanically mixed digester feed wells located west of the thickener building and digester feed pump station equipped progressing cavity digester feed pumps that discharge from the feed wells to the sludge digesters.
o. Sludge heating system including hot water supplied from the existing boiler facility in the Main Building, hot water pumps, hot water supply and return piping and tube-in-tube-style heat exchangers. Sludge heating secondary loop that includes hot water pumps, supply and return piping and heat exchangers. Sludge heating loop that includes one (1) tube-in-tube sludge heat exchanger and one (1) screw centrifugal-type sludge
recirculation pump per digester, with a swing pump as a spare for each pair of digesters.
p. Digester mixing system consisting of four (4), twenty (20) horsepower mechanical draft tube mixers per digester. q. Digested sludge conveyance system consisting of cast-in-place concrete sludge overflow boxes constructed to the exterior sidewalls of the digester tanks, digested sludge piping and valves, progressing cavity and recessed impeller sludge conveyance pumps and pipe connection to existing sludge transfer header.
r. Digester gas system consisting of two (2) dual pressure/vacuum relief assemblies with flame traps and safety selector valves on each digester, stainless steel digester gas piping, valves, overhead digester gas piping and support system, condensate and sediment removal equipment, three condensate control rooms, gas meters, four (4) waste gas burners located on a concrete pad west of the thickener building and pipe connection
