The work under this contract consists generally of demolition and
replacement of Corbin Street Ramp over the New Jersey Turnpike and Conrail railroad tracks including foundation piles; demolition of a portion of the Port Street Bridge extension; demolition, construction, reconstruction or rehabilitation of roadways including removals, surcharge placement, pavementmarkings, grading, paving, utilities, traffic signals, signs, guiderail and barrier, and other site features;removal and construction of rail features including signals, and precast concrete grade crossings; upgrade and replacement of intelligent transportation system; digital message sign structure; construction of outfall structure; lighting and related electrical work; landscape features including trees and seeding; disposal of contaminated non-hazardous excess material and related work at the Port Street Corridor area.
