Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Drainage Systems Supplier, Storm Water Systems Supplier, Construction Staking, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Traffic Flaggers, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Remove Bridge Item, Clearing & Grubbing, Highway Planting, Soil Amendments, Hydroseeding, Erosion Control, Temp Erosion Control, Concrete Pumping, Penetration Treatment & Prime Coat (Tack Coat), Pavement Reinforcing Fabric, AC Dike and Misc Paving, Furnish & Drive Piling, Prestressing Concrete Cast-In-Place, Joint Seal - Water Stop, Reinforcing Steel, Roadside Sign, Directional Boring/Drilling, Fencing, Metal Beam Guard Railing, Concrete Barrier, Metal Beam Barrier, Crash Cushion, Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking, Painted Traffic Stripe & Marking, Remove Striping & Marking, Maintain TMS Elements, Message Signs, Lighting & Sign Illumination, Traffic Count Station, Speed Monitoring Station, Pavement Profiling, Environmental Engineer, Materials Testing Service, Surveyor, Enviro - Biological Studies, Environmental-Water Quality, Lead Compliance, SWPPP Planning, Biological Resources Study, Super 10 Dump Truck, Street Sweeping Truck, Trucker Broker, Trucker, Constr Staking (Survey)

The DBE Contract goal is 19% percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACNH-P020(198)E. The estimated cost of the project is $27,000,000.00. Requirements:
No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. The US Small Business Administration may also assist you in obtaining bonding - please see the following site for information: http://www.sba.gov/content/contractors#

Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
