General work description: Install temporary railing, place HMA and vegetation control
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to Asphalt Supplier, Concrete & Cement Supplier, Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Temp K-Railing, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Remove Concrete, Hydroseeding, Erosion Control, Temp Erosion Control, Aggregate Base, Pavement Reinforcing Fabric, Temporary Fencing, Object Marker, Metal Beam Guard Railing, Metal Beam Barrier, Crash Cushion, Thermoplastic Traffic Stripe & Marking, Remove Striping & Marking, Pavement Marking, Maintain TMS Elements, Signal & Lighting, Lead Compliance, SWPPP Planning, Bottom Dump Trucking, Super 10 Dump Truck, Street Sweeping Truck, Trucker Broker, Trucker, Construction Equipment Rental.
The DBE Contract goal is 19 percent. Federal-aid project no.: ACHSNH-X023(043)E. The estimated cost of the project is $5,300,000.00.

Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. The US Small Business Administration may also assist you in obtaining bonding - please see the following site for information: http://www.sba.gov/content/contractors#
Subcontractors must possess a current contractor's license, insurance and worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
