The Philadelphia Office of Economic Opportunity (OEO) offers a periodic webinar series, the "Doing Business in the City Workshops" events, which provide businesses with the education and know-how they need to navigate competing for procurement work with various City departments. This specific webinar is on doing business with Philadelphia's school district, particularly as it applies to minority-, women-, and disabled-owned businesses, and what tools they can avail themselves of to be maximally effective when bidding. The webinar will provide an overview of the procurement process, getting certified by the City, finding and bidding on City contracts, and more, including networking tips.
