The New York City Department of Small Business Services APEX Accelerator (SBS-APEX) is hosting its recurring free four-part "Selling to Government" webinar series. The first component of the series, "Procurement Basics" is being hosted on August 5th. The webinar series is geared towards helping businesses understand if getting into the world of competing for public contracts with the City (and other governmental entities) is right for them, and, if they decide it is, how to proceed. This webinar will cover the basics of how public procurement works and how to make the decision of if it's right for your business, along with understanding commodity codes, getting registered and certified, and more.
