Northern California APEX Accelerator is hosting a free webinar on the HUBZone Certification offered by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The HUBZone certification is designed for businesses located in Historically Underutilized Business Zones. SBA-certified HUBZone businesses can then receive certain considerations in competing for federal contracts. Businesses located in Humboldt, Del Norte, Siskiyou, Mendocino, Lake, Tehama, Glenn, or Colusa Counties, or eligible portions of San Francisco or Alameda Counties are particularly encouraged to attend, as they may already be eligible for the HUBZone certification. The webinar will provide more information about what the program can do for you, and how to get certified.
