The Competitive Edge Conference is being sponsored by a variety of public and private entities seeking to network with and provide networking opportunities for disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs), minority- and women-owned business enterprises (MWBEs), locally based enterprises (LBEs), and service-disabled veteran owned businesses (SDVOBs). The one-day event, now in its 24th year, will offer attendees a chance to learn more about how to be competitive when seeking out public procurement opportunities, through a variety of panels, workshops, and mixers. Exhibitors include but are not limited to such New York State area agencies as the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services, the New York City Housing Authority, and more.
