Doing Business with the State of California in Caltrans District 11

The Department of General Services (DGS) in partnership with the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will host a State government procurement workshop on the topic of doing business with the State of California. This informative workshop is designed to increase the number of certified Small Businesses (SBs) and Disabled Veterans Business Enterprises (DVBEs) in the San Diego and Imperial regions. Caltrans District 11 includes San Diego and Imperial counties, but also spans the entire California-Mexico Border from the Pacific coast to Arizona, and reaches north from the international border to Orange and Riverside counties and has roughly 1,000 centerline miles of urban and rural freeways and more than $1.3 billion in current construction.
