The New York City Department of Small Business Services' APEX Accelerator (or SBS-APEX, formerly SBS-PTAC) is hosting a four-part "Selling to Government" webinar series that will help businesses interested in selling their goods and services to government purchasers learn the ropes of how public procurement works. The second session, "Identifying Opportunity", will guide attendees through the ins and outs of how to do market research in looking for government contracts, determining the right size and type of contract to take on, and knowing when a given opportunity is best approached as either a prime contract or a subcontract opportunity.
